2022 Kia Forte Review

The Forte has received a makeover for 2022, with new front and rear bumpers, a new grille, redesigned exterior lighting components, and new wheel styles. The 2022 Kia Forte now has an electronic parking brake with automatic hold. Seating for 5 and 4-doors makes this model great for everything your family needs.

The Kia Forte boasts 17-inch wheels, a sleek external appearance, a performance-style steering wheel, and sport seats covered in faux leather, making it a superb choice for those searching for a sporty compact sedan. The base engine is a 2.0-liter I-4 with 147 horsepower and 132 pound-feet of torque, while the Forte GT has a 1.6-liter turbocharged four with 201 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque.

Behind the steering wheel, there’s now a conventional 4.2-inch digital display (up from 3.5 inches) and an 8-inch center touchscreen with integrated Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

Each Kia Forte is paired with a new 10.25-inch display with navigation and an electronic parking brake button in the center dashboard. There is also a USB port in the back as well as a remote start. These features are available on several trim levels, so you can have all the functionalities you want without compromising your style.

New safety measures and driver aids, such as navigation-based adaptive cruise control, have been incorporated as standard features.

The lower front bumper has been updated with new air intakes and LED fog lights. New dark metal grey 16- and 17-inch wheels and the updated LED taillights in the rear create a sleek, sophisticated look topped by a bit of spoiler fitted into the trunk lid.

From the fuel-efficient basic model to the sporty 201-horsepower GT top trim with its optional six-speed manual transmission, the Forte portfolio has something for everyone.
