Kia West had the privilege of meeting Vancouver Whitecaps FC player Kekuta Manneh and Soccer Hall of Fame legend, Les Wilson, at our Vancouver Whitecaps Player Signing Event. It was truly a special experience for the entire team at Kia West and our customers, seeing the two generations of Whitecaps players meet.
Kekuta Manneh is currently a striker for the Whitecaps. His professional career has lead him around the world, including playing for Steve Bilko Soccer Club and Austin Aztex. Meanwhile, Les Wilson’s soccer career spans over four decades, from professional player with the Vancouver Whitecaps to the national team’s manager during Canada’s greatest achievements in the world of soccer at the FIFA World Cup Finals.
To celebrate, not only did the dealership host a BBQ, but it was decked out with Whitecaps colours. Kia West also had a wheel which customers could spin to win prizes such as Whitecaps tickets, jerseys, and more. Each customer had the opportunity to do a meet and greet with Kekuta, get an autograph, and even play a round of soccer with him.
